Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 50 grams white sugar 1/4 cup
  • 75 gm brown sugar 1/3 cup
  • 115gm brown butter 1/2 cup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 140 gm All purpose flour 1 cup 2 tbsp
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Instructions:

  • Brown the butter in a small pot on medium heat.
  • Once it has cooled down, add white sugar and brown sugar and mix everything.
  • Add vanilla extract and one room temperature egg. Then sift the flour, salt, and baking soda in, and whisk until combined.
  • Add chocolate chips or chocolate chunks and cover the dough and chill it for a minimum of 2 hours in the fridge.
  • Now make small balls with a small scoop or a tablespoon and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for around 10 minutes or until the edges turn golden and the cookie is soft in the middle.
  • To get the perfect round cookies, nudge the cookies into a circle with a round cookie cutter or glass while they are hot.
