Butter the baking dish and preheat the oven at 170C.
Beat eggs until tripled in volume. Fold in sifted flour and baking powder gently.
Pour batter into the baking tray and bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool and poke holes in it.
Heat milk with cardamom pods, add condensed milk, and strain. Soak the cake completely in the milk mixture and chill. Whip heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar.
Cover the cake with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed pistachios on top. Decorate and serve chilled.
